Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, Landscape Comparison - Windy River Just North of Fairbanks

Photographed below, from Day 2 of the trip, is the view just north of Fairbanks, Alaska on the way to Arctic Village. The landscape dotted with lakes and cut by numerous rivers becomes increasingly rugged as you approach the Brooks Mountain Range. The central portion of the state seems endless and is quite rugged.
