I’ve never been into caving, but from the description of this recent discovery in Sequoia National Park I might change my tune. Unfortunately it sounds like they’re going to keep the location of this cave secret for some time to come. None the less the description and photos are incredible.

    i heard that they may never open it to the public, too many of the features inside are fragile.

    I think that will likely be the case. It sounds and looks incredible. Hopefully they’ll publish more photos from it. One can only hope they might provide limited access while balancing its preservation, but I think its not likely.
