Chicago, A Beans Eye View
This was the view of Chicago’s skyline as seen through Cloud Gate (AKA the Bean), an often photographed sculpture, in Millenium Park. The beautiful weather lasted only 3-4 hours on this morning and then it turned stormy. The next day the snow and rain closed down Chicago’s O’Hare airport and wreaked havoc with the schedule of thousands of business travelers. Such is life in the big city.

Now that is a very cool view of the bean indeed, and I’ve seen a bunch of them!

For the photographers tracking this… I found this article quite interesting on shooting “Cloud Gate” from when it originally was unveiled.
Chicago’s Bean sculpture is free to photograph, at last
Amazing what logic justified this policy to seek permits.
