Photographing wildlife is an awe inspiring experience. With many subjects its easy to get lost in their beauty and power. When it comes to large predators if they look back at you, you instantly realize where you are on the food chain.

The SF zoo is a really pretty walk too. You had much better luck getting a tiger portrait than I did! Last time I visited, they were “cat-napping” for the entire day out of view!

krizcpec I don’t know about calm and cute. I got the feeling he/she was calculating how fast he/she’d need to run to get me.

Dr_Watso its hit or miss getting a good shot at the zoo. I think it depends how close to feeding time you show up and how good the weather is.
