San Francisco Sunset
San Francisco sunsets vary with the weather, but they’re always stunningly beautiful. This past Monday was no exception. A low lying fog bank was rolling in as the sunset, covering homes in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Heights and Sunset Districts.

Jim,
This is a shot of San Francisco I’ve never seen before. Kudos to you for finding a very unique perspective of a very popular subject.

Thanks Sherri for your comment on this image and on my Blue Angels blog entry. I just followed up on your previous comment to that post. This was my fall back shot for the evening. I was too squeezed for time and couldn’t make it to the Golden Gate Bridge to get the shot with the fog. My photo assistants (my dogs) were on site to help me with this shot as we walked in our local park. Glad you like the photo. I was concerned it would be too dark on a PC. If anyone can comment on the foreground being too light, too dark or just right it would be very helpful to me.
