Happening upon a stream might not seem that exciting to most people, but for myself it proved to be one of the highlights of my day while photographing fall color in the eastern Sierra Nevada mountains. I found a couple great subjects including this small branch of Aspen leafs stuck in the water. What caught my eye when I first saw this was the droplet of water on the leaf glistening in the sun. The Aspen leafs floating downstream in the background was the icing on the cake.
