Sometimes some of the most beautiful scenery is neatly tucked away out of view just off the side of the road, such was the case with this photo. A leisurely stroll through the forest yielded this view. It was extremely relaxing, the only thing breaking the silence was the sound of rustling leafs as the wind blew through the trees. So where am I going with this? I guess if you’re driving from point A to B and you see something beautiful, take the time to stop and enjoy it. Have a great weekend :)

So true. So what if we’re a little late to our destination? A short half-hour stroll through a quiet forest does wonders for our physical and mental health.

Speaking of just off the side of the road…

I shot one of my favorite Yosemite Valley photographs from literally at the back bumper of my car. It was almost embarrassing, but the scene (some interesting oak tree trunks) was right - and I’ll take what I can get!

Beautiful photo. I really love the “wiry” branches on those two front trees. They are stunning little arms against the yellow leaves.
