The Bell Curve

One of the more interesting features off the San Francisco coastline is a small cluster of off shore rock formations near Sutro Baths. Under the right conditions they can take on an ethereal form for someone creatively inclined. For the thousands of birds that reside here nightly it’s just home.

@Dan I brought lots of bird seed. Actually it was just one of those lucky breaks. I actually took this last September and rediscovered it. Always a pleasant surprise. Your Pt. Lobos shots are great. I'll take a closer look at more of them tonight.

@Mark With in how many degrees of certainty are you regarding your feelings of how normal this photo is?

Reminds me of some Pt. Lobos shots I did in late December - also with long exposures and birds on rocks. (One here: http://www.gdanmitchell.com/wpg2?g2_itemId=741)
