Join award winning photographer, Jim M. Goldstein, in Moss Landing, California for this special wildlife photography tour.
From our perch on a comfortable pontoon boat we will have the ability to photograph the natural behaviors of a variety of species including California Sea Otters. Our small group will allow us to make the most of each encounter.
After a brief safety orientation, our Captain will guide us out of the harbor and into the protected Elkhorn Slough in search of the sea otters who call this wildlife rich area home.
We will capture feeding and grooming behaviors and with any luck some play-time too. Other species we may encounter include Harbor Seals, California Sea Lions, Cormorants, and Pelicans, Grebes and Surf Scoters as well as many other shore birds.
Join us on December 13th for an afternoon / sunset photo shoot. After the session we will have dinner at a local fish market where we will download images, discuss the afternoon shoot and provide critiques. This is your time so come prepared with lots of questions!
To ensure the best instruction and otter interaction possible this workshop will be limited to a maximum of eight (8) participants.
