New Design & Stock Site at JMG-Galleries.com

I’m happy to announce that JMG-Galleries.com has taken on a new look and feel and a new stock photography section has been added. In fact the stock photography section is itself a web site unto itself JMG-Stock-Photo-Video.com. Check it out and let me know what you think. I’m still putting the finishing touches on the site and will be adding several thousand more images to the existing 1200 or so photographs now available for print and licensing.

For those with a fine eye for change you’ll notice that I’ve developed a new watermark for my photographs. This watermark is on every image with in my stock photography web site and will find its way to all my work moving forward. In the coming days I’ll have a series of blog articles coming out on watermarking so stay tuned. Also for those that are curious the stock photo web site that I’ve put in place is powered by LightboxPhoto.

As always thanks for your support and feedback. I look forward to hearing how the new site is received.

Hey Jim,

I need to spend a bit more time checking it out, but my initial reaction – it looks great!

Glad to see Lightboxphoto worked out for you.

Jim – it looks great! One thing I would consider changing is the speed of your slide show on the home page. It’s just a tad too fast. I’d like to ponder on each image just a bit longer.

WOw, you have been a busy, busy guy. Will take a long time to look through it all since you have so much great stuff. Looks really good.

One thing I noticed is that when changing subjects, or images – the title tag of the page remains the same. I know for SEO, particularly for Google – it loves those title tags. So just food for thought.

I have been wondering if my watermark should be more prominent – so I look forward to your posts discussing them.

Thanks everyone for the feedback.

@Sherri Meyer I’m likely going to tinker with that setting, but for now I’m going to keep it until I get some other critical tweeks out of the way.

@Mark Great catch on the page titles. I’ve been eyeing that myself and have a fix lined up.
