Bridalveil Fall After A Snow Storm, Yosemite National Park

Now that California is getting some much needed rain and snow I’m excited to see how this Spring turns out. More immediately I’m eager to find the time to make my way back to Yosemite valley while snowy conditions are still around. It seems I can never get enough of photographing Yosemite National Park. I suppose there is nothing surprising about that. Speaking of surprises…

I learned recently that friend and fellow nature photographer Gary Crabbe had a less than pleasant surprise in Death Valley injuring himself and narrowly avoiding death. If you have a chance check out his blog’s recent entry, Dropping off the face of the Earth,  where he gives some background to recent events and wish him well. Make a fast recovery Gary!

Jim, next time you plan a trip to Yosemite, give me a holler–I’d be happy to share a few alternate locations with you.
