Win a Free Lens Rental from Borrowlenses.com

Borrowlenses.com has been kind enough to make available a free week long lens rental (excluding super telephoto lenses) to be given away here on the JMG-Galleries blog.

In order to be eligible you need to:

  • Contest open to only those in the US. Lens rentals cannot be shipped to other countries.
  • The lucky winner will place the order online at BorrowLenses.com and they request a credit card number to cover the risk of a no-return. They will not charge your credit card. BorrowLenses.com is a reputable business but if you don’t feel comfortable with this condition, please don’t enter
  • The offer excludes super telephoto lenses and pro camera bodies.

HOW TO ENTER

  1. Peruse Borrowlenses.com to find something you’d be interested to rent. Feel free to let me know what catches your eye. I won’t hold you to this if you win. I’m just curious.
Note: Available lenses are for Nikon and Canon cameras. Not a Nikon or Canon user consider their lighting and tripod equipment.
  2. Add a comment to this post with the item you’d be most interested to rent.
Note: Tweeting ” Win a free BorrowLenses.com lens rental. Follow @jimgoldstein & @borrowlenses for a chance to win http://bit.ly/b0BBl2 #JMGLENS” on Twitter is worth one entry to the raffle.

For an additional entry to the raffle…

  • In your comment here point me to a post on your blog, Twitter stream, Facebook, or Flickr photostream referencing this giveaway and Borrowlenses.com

Deadline: April 12th at Midnight PST
The winner will be randomly chosen and announced no later than April 14th.

Thanks for taking part and good luck!

Jim,

Tough to select just one lens but I'd probably get the most use out of the Canon 35 f/1.4. Never tried it before but seen some amazing photographs out of that lens. On a flip side, the 135mm f/2 is very tempting as well…as are many others:) OK, sticking with my first choice.

Hi Jim,

Thanks for hosting this contest! I was referred by a BorrowLenses Facebook posting!

I'm most interested in giving the Nikon 24mm f/1.4G ED AF-S a test drive. I think it would provide some seriously creative compositions for my wedding and portrait photography. It certainly wouldn't replace the more traditional focal lengths, but I generally love shallow DOF and nothing in Nikon's current lineup really delivers at the wide end!

Thanks again!

Chris Aram

I'm interested in the 17-40mm L series lens from Canon…I want to test it out storm chasing this May in Oklahoma!

I'd rent either the Canon 85 f/1.2 or the 70-200 f/2.8… I'd love to try either of those.

Best of luck to everyone entering!

I'd love, love, love to check out the Canon 17-55mm f2.8 – despite it not being an L, the reviews are phenomenal and the shots I've seen with it are enough to make we want to purchase one regardless of whether I win this rental or not. Which I'm still hoping is the former, of course :)

Sweet! I would LOVE to rent a Nikon wide-angle such as a 14-24mm for my photojournalism class!

I'd get the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM because I'm seriously considering this lens and want to try it out. I started with a kit lens, moved to a Sigma but haven't been entirely happy with it. I need a new walk around lens, and this looks perfect.
