Archives for Photo A Day category

Photographed near the Crystal Springs Watershed in San Mateo County an hour or so before sunset. The stark lighting conditions attracted me to this scene, the beams of light in particular.

I’ve made my way through yet another month of image processing for my Photo A Day project from last year. I’m pretty embarrassed that I’m so far behind, but at least there’s progress being made. Below are a couple of photo highlights. Check in to see the rest of the months images from last years Photo A Day project.

As part of a very delayed publication of images from my Photo A Day 2006 project, August images have been added to my Photo A Day page. Unfortunately these images were delayed due to my laptop biting the dust and an intense work schedule the past two weeks.
More to come…

I had the pleasure of taking my wife to New York City as a gift for our 1 year wedding anniversary (note I had given her “paper” tickets on the day of in October). Cindy had yet to visit NYC so it was a lot of fun to run around town with her. As part of the trip I wasn’t centering our activities around photography, although Cindy might not feel that way as a camera was never too far out of hand. She was a great sport. It was tough to resist taking a photo (or a dozen photos) of the Guggenheim museum interior. This was one of the many that I consider a personal favorite.

This past weekend I had the opportunity to photograph Icer Air 2006. It was quite different than last years Icer Air, but still very entertaining! I took way too many photos, but already have a few favorites (see below). Later I’ll post more photos including some harrowing wipe outs.
