Few photos have eluded me like this one. After nearly 10 years the stars aligned and I was finally free to photograph the fog blanketing the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco at sunset this past week. What makes this photo so difficult to capture? To name a few things; the weather conditions have to be just right, you have to recognize the conditions as being just right, you have to be in a close proximity to the
Sunset lighting on the Golden Gate Bridge as seen from Baker Beach. For those that are curious this was taken last year. More of my Golden Gate Bridge photos can be seen in my gallery. See More Golden Gate Bridge Photos [tags]San Francisco, landscape, photography, Golden Gate Bridge, photo[/tags]
The tail end of my wildlife photo weekend ended with a very common, but no less exceptional view last week… the southbound view of the Golden Gate Bridge through the Waldo Tunnel.

No look is more dramatic or romantic as a blanket of fog laying over the bay and around the iconic Golden Gate Bridge & skyline of San Francisco. This photo was taken this past February when lighting and weather conditions were perfect, The two frequently are n
